Meet Our Founders
Sukhpal Ghotra
Co-Founder and Consultant
From a rural town in Punjab, India to the #1 Public University in the world, Sukhpal has learned first hand the struggles of academic excellence. In his pursuit of higher education he’s seen the lack of infrastructure and foundation for student success. After graduating UC Berkeley he works as a Electrical Engineer in big tech at semiconductor design and manufacturing company known as Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Given his experiences he was driven to help find Skry Counseling, to make sure the setbacks he faced could be a learning lesson for the success of future students.
Chinmay Chhatwal
Co-Founder and Consultant
Chinmay Chhatwal’s passion for education and mentorship grew out of his early experiences teaching and working directly with students. Originally from Simi Valley, California, he studied Data Science and Computer Science at UC Berkeley. While in college, he founded and taught technology bootcamps, where he discovered a widespread lack of support around the college admissions process. After gaining professional experience as a data scientist in asset management, he became increasingly committed to addressing this gap. Chinmay now focuses on providing personalized and comprehensive college application guidance, aiming to help students overcome common challenges and achieve their academic goals.
